I love when somebody requests a cake for their child’s birthday. No matter what age, it’s always going to be a fun themed cake! It’s always funny when the child is quite young and instead of eating it they smash their face into it instead. Take all your Instagram pictures first and then let the child dive in!
This cake was a circus-themed cake – the idea came from a Dumbo themed cake originally but it was decided that we’d leave Dumbo out for this one. It was an 8″ and 6″, 8-layered vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The decorations are made with fondant and the cute cake toppers I purchased from HomeSense! Surprisingly, they have really great cake decorations (usually in their check-out line which gets me every time…)
